Trampled in the chaos of the capture pens, this foal was badly injured and clearly not able to walk. Still, the wranglers felt the need to hog-tie him.

Later rescued by a couple of good Samaritans, he did not make it after all; he died of internal injuries after about a week of intensive care.


He suffered neurological/brain damage, and internal injuries that proved fatal
